A fire door is a compliance item before it is a design item: the inspector reads the label, checks the rating against the door schedule, and confirms that the frame and hardware belong to the same listed assembly. We supply the complete assembly with the UL mark on the leaf, the frame plate and the listed hardware, so the door type, the rating and the file number can be verified on site.

What the label proves.
Three marks matter on a fire door: the label on the leaf, the plate on the frame and the stamp on the hardware. An inspector reads the door type, rating and file number from the leaf label, checks the frame plate against it, and confirms that the hardware is listed for the assembly.
- Leaf label: states the door type, the fire rating and the UL file number.
- Frame plate: a separate UL plate identifying the frame as part of the listed assembly.
- Hardware: hinges and lockset carry the UL mark, so the hardware schedule can be checked item by item.
The rating is stamped on the label for each order, so it matches the door schedule rather than a generic specification.

How ordering works.
- Minimum order: a single sample or trial order can be arranged. MOQ is confirmed per material family and model, because frame profiles and hardware differ between systems.
- Sample lead time: usually 3 to 7 working days after the finish and specification are approved.
- Production lead time: confirmed in the quotation, because it depends on quantity, finishes and hardware.
- Payment: a deposit before production, with the balance before shipment or against shipping documents. Final terms are stated on the quotation or proforma invoice.
Test reports and declarations.
Documentation for NAFS (AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440) for North America, the CSA A440 series for Canada and CE marking under EN 14351-1 for the European Union is issued per product line and model. Copies of certificates, test reports and declarations of performance are provided with quotations on request, and the applicable scope is confirmed for each model and destination market.
Fire-rated doorsets are UL listed, and the UL mark is applied to the door leaf, the frame and the listed hardware. The listing standard, test report and fire rating are confirmed per model. Where a project requires impact approval, acoustic performance or another local mark, the required documents and approval route are confirmed before the order is placed.

Which fire ratings can you supply?
20, 45, 60, 90 and 120 minute ratings are available. The rating for each opening is stamped on the UL label when the order is produced, so it matches the door schedule rather than a generic specification.
Is the frame part of the listed assembly?
Yes. The frame carries its own UL label plate, and the leaf, frame and hardware are supplied as one listed assembly rather than as separate parts.
How does an inspector verify the door on site?
The label on the leaf states the door type, the fire rating and the file number, and the frame plate states the frame listing. The inspector checks those against the UL directory and the approved door schedule.
Can fire doors carry glazing?
Yes, where the door schedule requires vision panels or glazed openings. Fire-rated glazing is supplied with its own listing, and the glazing configuration is confirmed against the door rating before production.
